Trigger warnings appear on articles, TV programmes, social media posts, and other forms of information now more than ever before .Is it becoming important to put trigger warnings on content for our organisational communication? Will this impact our audiences, from employees to customers to the public?How do you ensure you don't put your foot in it?Join us to unpack it all!Professor John Sutherland, Emeritus Professor English Literature at University College London; academic, newspaper columnist and author will draw from his most recent book “Triggered Literature” to look at the origins of the concept of triggering and share some examples in today’s current climate. Neil Griffiths, Global &amp; European Director, Diversity, Equity and Inclusion, Kearney Global Management Consulting will use his wide experience in building culture and implementing change to discuss the significance of triggering in organisational communications as the world awakens to the advantages of inclusive comms. Priya Bates, President of Inner Strength Communication, an award winning professional communicator who recently became one of the first Certified Communication Management Professional (CMP) in the world, will bring an international dimension to an overview of current implications for trigger warnings and together we'll discuss how not to put your foot in it. Join us for an insightful panel hosted by Susan Walker from AES Research.
