About this event

  • Event lasts 2 hours

Now that the Tall Ships have arrived... lets see if you can do better!

Join Abby at Greyhope Bay, overlooking the Tall Ships in port, where you’ll build and decorate your own boat from recycled and natural materials like milk jugs, cork, rocks, cardboard, paper, and more. Then, you can test your ship in our water basin to learn about buoyancy, before taking it home as a souvenir of your day by the sea.

Tickets:

This event is free to attend, and you’re welcome to drop in for any time within four half-hour slots (come between 10:00am-10:30am; 10:30am-11:00am; 11:00am-11:30am; or 11:30am-12:00pm).

Each attendee can make one boat. You're also welcome to bring your own recycled or natural materials if you'd like to get extra creative!

If you'd like to support the event, you can also select a donation ticket (in addition to your free drop-in ticket). The suggested donation is £5 to help cover the cost of materials - thank you so much for supporting community events at Greyhope Bay!
