Doing things differently: manifesto commitments to secure health and care in Wales 2021 and beyond
Led by the Bevan Commission in partnership with the Institute of Welsh Affairs (IWA), the Welsh NHS Confederation, Social Care Wales and the Board of Community Health Councils in Wales.
About this event
Wales’s politicians have a crucial role to play in the future of health and care and the tough choices that will need to be made as we continue to respond to the Covid 19 pandemic, recover from it and refocus.
Ahead of the Senedd election on 6 May 2021, this session will invite health and care spokespeople from each of the political parties in Wales to answer key questions about the difficult decisions to be made and set out their manifesto commitments. What will they do differently?
Key Questions
• What are the tough choices we will need to make in responding, recovering and refocusing from Covid-19?
• What does your manifesto offer to address the challenges we face across health and care?
• So what do you see are the top 3 things that we will need to do differently?
