Simon Buckley has been a photographer for over 20 years and has been published both in the UK and internationally. He regularly gives talkes and lectures. His Not Quite Light project sees him photographing at dawn, exploring the transition of Manchester city centre.

A night of food, music and photography celebrating Manchester in aid of Lifeshare and The Real Junk Food Project Manchester
Doors Open at 5.30pm
6-8.30pm
Manchester's finest food cooked by chef Mary-Ellen McTague and the Real Life Junk Food project.
6.30-9pm
Live music that draws on Manchester's heritage with Jennifer Read singing Broadside ballads, Jewish &amp; Irish musicians from the project Mirk Across The Irk bringing together their unique take on these two traditions, Kalinka, a Manchester based Balalaika group, John Dhali, a very talented singer songwriter and Violet Society, a duo making waves in the city. Pictures from the 'My Manchester' project will be projected during these performances.
9-1am
DJ Pasta Paul gets us dancing. Pictures from NQL will also be projected.
