A local Charity supporting local familiesDorPIP is an independent local charity Founded by Vivian Allen in November 2017 to provide specialist therapy for families struggling to form safe, secure relationships with their infants from conception to age two.We aim to create a society where children flourish through attuned parenting that gives them the best possible start in life.What we do...We focus on the very special relationship between parents and infants that develops in the first 1001 critical days of life, from conception to age two.We help parents and primary carers to bond and attune with their baby through Parent-Infant Therapy and attachment-led Infant Massage.We educate other professionals to work in an attachment focused way and identify known risk factors to offer early help, prevent adverse childhood experiences and enable parents and their babies to reach their full potential.Our Mission:“To inspire and nurture the human spirit, one baby, one parent and one community at a time”

Dorset Parent Infant Partnership

DorPIP Dads is a FREE online group for expecting or new Dads with a little one up to the age of 2 who live in Dorset or surrounding areas.

We are pleased to announce that DorPIP will be starting DorPIP Dad&#x27;s group facilitated by the campaigner and keynote speaker, Mark Williams. Over the six weekly sessions you will have the opportunity to explore what takes to be a dad, learn about bonding and attachment,  strategies you can use to take care of your wellbeing, how to communicate your concerns with your partner or trusted other, techniques for soothing your baby. As well as having the opportunity to meet other dads and ask questions directly to a midwife.As much as you want to be there for your partner, it can be difficult juggling your needs, your partners and this whole new person you helped bring into this world.DorPIP Dads is a place for any Dad in Dorset or surrounding areas to explore their fatherhood journey, and learn skills, tools and techniques to help them along the way.Whether you’re doing okay, or would like a bit of support, we welcome all Dads to attend our sessions from 19:00-20:30. Hopefully little one will be sound asleep allowing you some valuable &#x27;me&#x27; time.I﻿f you want any further information please email referrals@dorpip.org.uk**﻿You only need to sign up for the first date to attend all six sessions as the Zoom link is the same**
