Doula UKwas founded in 2001 to promote life-changing support from skilled doulas for families in the childbearing year regardless of circumstance, while advocating for better support for UK families.O﻿ur events are aimed at Doula UK members, Doulas who are non-members, those people thinking about becoming doulas, midwives, breastfeeding supporters and any other HCPs in the birthworld.

The Doula UK Introductory Workshop is lead by an experienced doula.F ind out about:<ul><li>Life and work of a doula⁠</li><li>Training options to become a doula⁠</li><li>Mentoring⁠</li><li>Joining Doula UK⁠</li><li>Doula UK support and community⁠</li><li>Setting up your doula business⁠</li><li>Understanding of inclusivity and accessibility⁠</li><li>Next steps⁠</li></ul>Workshops are interactive and online for up tp 3 hours. Groups are kept to a maximum of six participants. Cost £35.⁠Bursary places available to aspiring doulas who are Black, Asian, ethnically diverse, gender diverse, people with disabilities, LGBTQIA+, and for those who have a financial barrier to taking part.⁠ Please email admin@doula.org.uk for more information.
