This year the SHRUB Coop is proud to bring a somewhat eclectic mix of shows to our Zero Waste Hub!

Join us for theatre, repair workshops, queer cabaret, stand-up, swaps, a sustainable fashion show and more!

A celebration of artistic skill, queer expression and liberty, SHRUB is proud to offer a brand new event. With elements drawn from drag performance and the classic art of life-drawing blended into a class that allows people to have the opportunity to practice their art (or try it for the first time) in a safe and comfortable community space.Our model, Blades, will be working through a variety of poses and we will be supplying charcoal and paper for use (feel free to bring your own supplies if you would rather).This class is suitable for all skill and experience levels and is only open to attendees of 16 years and over.Tickets for this event are by donation, please do pay what you can to help support our model and to pay for supplies.ACCESS NOTESThe Zero Waste Hub is on the ground floor with a small step at the entrance. A ramp is available upon request. All the public spaces throughout the building are step free and there are gender neutral and powerchair accessible toilets (no changing places toilet) with hand rails.SHRUB is a sober space with quiet music and low lighting. Noisy sirens do go through the neighbourhood. We do not have a hearing loop installed.Our venue is located near bus stops served by the following routes: 2, 35, 34, 16, 11, 24, 12, 10, 36, 47.
