About this event

  • Event lasts 4 hours

How do we respond to emotions at work?

We hide them. Then we can’t hold them back anymore and they swoosh out. Or we blame ourselves or others and can’t concentrate anymore on important tasks. And we all know those running thoughts that prevent us of falling asleep peacefully after a stressful work day.

Where did all the fun go?
Let’s get that back and learn how to solve emotional situations with play!

In this fun and interactive workshop we learn to recognize signals of the nervous system and how to regulate in a healthy way. We look into how we can communicate without sounding like stiff therapists. We take fun improv exercises and mix them with body awareness exercises to experience simple mindshifts and regulate our nervous systems that you can apply directly to your next work day.

What did others say about this workshop?

“It was very pleasant, it felt like a warm and friendly evironment to explore. And also learned Some new stuff. The visualisation was very helpful. I can you use that at my work. Also the awareness of my own stress level. Thank you, the group was open and warm thanks to you” - Annet, social worker

“I enjoyed the workshop and the topic discussed. In was interesting to reflect on emotions at work and how to cope with stress. There was a nice synchrony between the two facilitators.” - Giulia, researcher

“One of my key takeaways was, when regulating your own nervous system, you can help hold space for others to express and do the same. Like a team! It’s beautiful to see that we are all out here trying to survive and live our best lives. So why not be compassionate and help others?” - Isabel, remote worker

    And who are the hosts?

Dutch Improv Teacher Cindy Pittens and German-Ecuadorian Emotional Release Facilitator Isabella got together to use the mindset and joyful approach to life from the Improv World and combine it with trauma-informed emotional work to create something the world has not seen before. This combination creates safe spaces that are not only fun but leave you with tools to extend the lightheartedness into work and life in general.
