Sustainable Business Network

Plastic, food, cardboard, shrink-wrapping, paper, cups, stirrers batteries….just a few common overused &amp; wasted resources found in any office or workplace.
 We have all watched and been horrified by scenes in BBC’s Blue Planet 2 of the impact of plastics in our sea-life. From a moral stance and on a personal basis, it’s clear that we all need to make lifestyle choices. But what does it mean for businesses? We look at the impacts to businesses for failing to manage these resources, choices you have and the implications to profit, reputation and staff retention. Also, we consider practical and pragmatic choices and how to manage behaviour to make sure your business does the right thing and embeds these changes in a sustainable culture.
This SBN Workshop investigates the benefits of managing resource efficiency through a series of talks and a case study on practical and effective approaches.
 Suitable for SMEs to corporates. You may be an environmental, health &amp; safety manager/director, finance manager or marketing manager. Plenty of opportunity throughout to network with like-minded professionals.
