This fun and engaging day of drawing around Tower Bridge will allow you to understand how drawing on location can influence your creative process. Whether you are a complete beginner or are more experienced, students will feel inspired by the urban surroundings that they draw. The day will begin with introductions to different drawing techniques including:
- Measuring
- Structure
- Tone
- Perspective Drawing
Students will have the opportunity to draw what they like, whether it be Tower Bridge or something else that interest them in the area.
Who can book?
With the guidance of tutor, Natasha Lien, she will meet each students needs at whatever level they are and give individual guidance to help students learn and progress. This is an ideal course if you are considering joining our longer ‘Drawing on Location’ or ‘Drawing in Museums’ courses that are lead by Natasha.
What will I need?
- A large sketchbook (A4 or A3 size)
- Pencils (B,2B,3B,4B,6B etc)
- Putty rubber/Eraser
- Charcoal
- Sharpener
- Portable stools, this is not necessary however makes it easier when drawing.
