Where life drawing meets art wellness. A therapeutic drawing class designed to nurture creativity, emotional wellbeing, and self-expression through observational and intuitive drawing activities. Each session begins with a guided meditation to ground you in the space and moves into playful, exploratory exercises such as automatic drawing to encourage presence, flow, and introspection. In these sessions you will learn to draw a clothed model using simple drawing techniques, that will encourage mindfulness through sustained focus. You’ll discover how drawing from observation anchors you in the present moment and becomes a meditative antidote. The class concludes with a reflective check-in and optional sharing.

About your facilitator:
Ben (they/them) is a multidisciplinary artist working at the intersection of visual communication, therapeutic arts, and observational drawing. With professional experience across visual arts, set design, education and fashion image & promotion. Drawing has long served as both a meditative refuge and creative outlet for Ben, especially during challenging periods in their life, and this deeply personal connection informs their self-reflective approach. Since 2022, they've been independently running drawing workshops that blend life drawing and art wellness, guiding students of all abilities to reconnect with their visual language - rooted in the belief that drawing is a powerful tool to promote presence, calm, and awakening a connection to your internal landscape.
