Our collection of Sunday life drawing sessions suitable for all levels of experience. Each week, we are joined on Zoom by a new model who will interpret and embody the theme of the class.

We will be joined by the fantastic artist and life model Yuka Tanaka, for a session that embraces the often chaotic and energetic nature of working with a body in flux.This session will be run a little differently than our previous life drawing classes - instead of being guided through a series of exercises by our tutor, this will be an opportunity to work in a more collaborative way with our model. Yuka will spend the duration of the class moving freely through a series of untimed poses and we will have to adapt to the unique experience of a life drawing class where the life model has full control over the pace and narrative of the session. Expect beautiful, unusual poses and a more rhythmic/ meditative environment in which to create work.You Will Need:<ul><li>Paper and lots of it! We recommend size A3 and above to allow for an expressive, flowing line.</li><li>Something to draw with! We love charcoal at LDG but you can also experiment with pencils, pen, soft pastels, oil pastels etc - whatever you have in your home!</li></ul>About our Tutor:Lily Holder is an Artist, Model and Educator based in South East London. Lily has been a part of the LDG story since modelling for one of our first ever Life Drawing classes at Lewisham Art House in 2016 and very swiftly becoming a regular model and collaborator of ours.Lily is passionate about drawing from the figure and is particularly interested in the collaborative relationship between Artist and Model. WHO IS THIS FOR: This class is suitable for ALL LEVELS.ETTIQUETTE: Online Life Drawing requires trust on both sides of the camera and our priority at LDG is keeping our life models safe and comfortable whilst working online. The majority of our life models will be working semi-clothed, however, occasionally a model may feel more comfortable to perform their job nude. If it is important for you to know this information in advance of the class, please drop us an email. Please note that taking screenshots, recordings, or reference images during class is not permitted or appropriate.TICKETS: We suggest an amount of £20. However, we understand that may not be possible for everybody. Please be honest and pay what you can afford so that we may continue to offer our sessions on this basis whilst also giving our tutors a sustainable wage. There is also a ticket option to "Pay It Forward" to support us and our students! We offer classes for free to those who can't afford the minimum amount (If this is you please email us to join for free). This continues to ensure our classes are available to everyone! ONCE BOOKED: You will receive a confirmation email and be able to access information on how to join the event via your eventbrite "Online Event Page" You can access this by signing into eventbrite or creating an account using the email address that you booked with. IN THE CLASS: You can't be seen or heard in our classes, your audio and video are automatically turned off and there's no way these can be turned on. You can talk to us and others in the class in the chat box! AFTER CLASS: We love to see your drawings or anything else our classes inspire! You can share them with us by tagging us on instagram (@londondrawinggroup) or emailing us if you don't have socials. ARE YOU TRYING TO BOOK VIA THE EVENTBRITE PHONE APP?! We have been in touch with Eventbrite, and they have informed us that currently you cannot book tickets to online events in their app. It's very frustrating and we have been assured they are working on a solution. In the meantime, we recommend that you book tickets to our events outside of the iOS app - either via a web browser or a desktop. If you book our classes regularly we recommend deleting the eventbrite App. RECORDING ACCESS: We will email the recording link to everyone who has booked approx 2 hours after the live class finishes.
