About this event

  • Event lasts 6 hours

This one day experimental drawing workshop invites participants to explore an expanded approach to image-making. Working from natural forms alongside imaginative sources, you’ll use charcoal, pencil, ink, and collage to create drawings that evolve through process—incorporating over-drawing, erasure, cut-ups, and recomposition.

Through guided exercises that embrace chance, fragmentation, and transformation, you’ll explore how a drawing can be continuously reimagined, allowing each piece to unfold organically over time.

The workshop encourages playful exploration, material sensitivity, and a deep engagement with both observed and invented imagery. Open to all levels, this is a space for expanding your drawing practice and discovering new ways of seeing and making.

Materials provided: Paper, tracing paper, charcoal, ink, and graphite pencils.Feel free to bring your own materials as well.
