Drawing from Drawings Workshop

with Assemblage Collective

Discover classic drawing techniques and learn how to draw from master drawings.

In this creative workshop, open to complete beginners as well as drawing aficionados, discover a new and accessible approach to classical drawing.

Using high quality reproductions, we will discover how a highly realistic drawing can be broken down into simple steps to supercharge your artistic skills.

Nervous about coming along? Don’t be! We’ll be sharing beginner-friendly techniques and tips to ease you into the process. Join us for an evening of slow portraiture surrounded by beautiful art and leave with the skills to continue drawing at home.

Disclaimer: we can’t absolutely guarantee your drawings will look like Leonardo’s by the end, but we can guarantee masterworks by famous artists of the past will seem less scary and more achievable!

Assemblage Collective is an arts collective based in London specialising in hands-on artistic workshops with an emphasis on papercrafting and creativity as a tool for bringing people together. Assemblage is in residence at the Foundling Museum and hosts a range of workshops across London, creating spaces to discover new creative skills, build networks, and make art in a supportive and friendly environment.
