Overview

Sunday Drawing in an artists garden with beautiful trees in Lancing

Savour a calm, untutored Sunday morning drawing beautiful trees in an artist’s garden and adjacent woodland. Draw outdoors, weather permitting, or in the light-filled studio.

Bring your own sketchbook and favourite drawing tools - pencils, pens, paints, digital tablets, whatever you like to use or experiment with. A relaxed, no-judgement session for all levels.

This event is guided by illustrator & designer Lois Pawson whose recent projects include creating a book about the trees, flora and fauna of the ancient forest of Andredsweald which once covered the south east of England.

This lovely location is Venue 13 on the Adur Art Trail 2026, open weekends 6th to 21st June, featuring artworks from local professional artists, with views of the South Downs and is near to the Widewater Nature Reserve.
