Dream’s Lover
For them, the performers: puppet (Dream) and human (Lover), this is a story of ——————. (They let you manipulate only here).
Dream’s Lover is a surrealist puppetry and mask work spectacle devised through visual dramaturgy, using Robert Browning’s “Porphyria’s Lover” as a stimulus. Implementing the medium of le théâtre noir, the piece explores shifting identities through dream-like sequences of the puppet and the human performer animating, interacting with, and manipulating each other.
