Aiming for the stars, but struggling to develop your science fiction world? Interested in short fiction but unsure where to start? The Micro Voyage is for writers of all levels who seek the challenge of flash fiction— 500 words or less!
This workshop will be led by writer Lagoon Myers, who will instruct on flash fiction format essentials. After, the group will begin to develop their flash pieces, with the opportunity to read the stories to the group for reader feedback (if desired). This is a casual workshop atmosphere focused on building your writing community, and learning together, whether you're interested in submitting to journals with pesky word limits or simply are looking to indulge your creative brain.Lagoon Myers is a Master of Fiction Writing from the Manchester Writing School with a focus in Queer Gothic.
