Where is Drive in Carols?
Teesside International Airport, DL2 1LU.
What are the dates and times?
Sunday 20th December 11AM and 2PM.
Who is organising Drive in Carols?
One Voice Darlington a network of local churches is organising Drive in Carols. Darlington Baptist Church are legally responsible.
What do I need to bring?
In order to minimise contact, we recommend either bringing a smart-phone or tablet with an internet connection or if this is impossible printing song lyrics from the One Voice Darlington Facebook Page prior to attending.
Can I leave my car?
No.
Can I bring children?
Yes.
How will I hear the service?
You can expect quality sound from our live stage with a sound system.
Do I leave my car running / lights on / heat on?
All vehicle engines and lights must be switched off during the service.
So…won’t it be cold in my car?
Potentially, so please ensure you wear plenty of layers of clothing and bring blankets too.
What if I arrive late?
Late arrivals may be refused entry. Please aim to arrive at least 10 minutes before the service.What happens if I need help during the service?
Event stewards will be located across the car park who will help you if you require assistance. Attract their attention by showing your hazard lights.
What if I need to leave during the service?
Vehicles must remain stationary in the car park until the service has ended and stewards have given drivers the signal to start engines and exit. If, however there is an emergency please put your hazard lights on and a member of security will help you.
What kind of vehicle can I bring, and how many people?
Vehicles NOT permitted - oversized vehicles (over 2m in height), motorbikes, mopeds, coaches, buses (including minibuses), RVs, limousines, commercial vehicles such as vans, light goods vehicles, heavy goods vehicles and vehicles with trailers.
•	Standard passenger vehicles only
•	Party size will not exceed the number of legal seats in the vehicle
•	Maximum vehicle occupancy of 7 people
•	You should only travel with people from your household in line with Government guidance. 
•	Larger passenger vehicles such as 4x4s may be placed at a car park towards the back to avoid blocking the views of others
•	At the end of the service we ask that attendees refrain from starting their engines until instructed by the stewards who will direct customer to the exits
•	Once parked up and in position, cars may not leave the car park until the service has concluded and on instruction from the stewards
All cars will be spaced at least 2m apart and the event is COVID-19 compliant.
Do I need a ticket?
Yes, we have a limited number of safe spaces (190) and they will be allocated on a first come first served basis from event brite.
How do you ensure our safety?
All events are designed to comply with government official social distancing guidelines.
•	Cars are parked up at the car park with an empty space either side
•	Distance is provided between your car and the cars around you
•	The only time you can leave your designated area is to use the toilet facility in an emergency
WARNING: It is imperative that attendees follow the social distancing guidance at all times. Stewards will be monitoring all attendees to ensure the code isn’t breeched. Attendees who breach the code may be subject to further action by the stewards.
Are toilet facilities available? Where are they?
Toilets are available in an emergency situation only for those with disability or for young children. 
•	Toilets are cleaned regularly
•	Toilet facilities will be managed to maintain social distancing
•	A steward will guide attendees to and from the toilets maintaining a social distance of no less than two metres in both directions
•	If you need the toilet as an emergency please use your hazard lights to attract a steward’s attention. 
We strongly recommend using your facilities at home first before coming to the event.
What do I do if my battery goes flat?
Please wait until all other vehicles have left the car park and a steward will come and assist you.
Important welfare information &amp; Covid-19
Covid–19, often referred to as coronavirus, is an infectious disease that can result in serious and potentially fatal illness. There is a risk of the transmission of Covid–19 in any environment where people come together. This risk increases in enclosed spaces and with increased numbers of people. The World Health Organisation (WHO) has advised that the elderly and those with underlying medical conditions are more vulnerable. Whilst Drive in Church will be adopting enhanced safety measures to help attendees stay safe, the risk cannot be completely eliminated. Upon attending an event, you assume all risk associated with Covid-19. You will also be expected to: 
abide by all government guidance aimed at preventing the transmission of the virus and
follow all directions provided by Drive in Carols and its Event staff and stewards.
You must not attend an event if you believe that you may have been infected by Covid-19.
Failure to comply with these measures shall entitle us to remove you from the event.

All events are all subject to the latest Government guidance rules to manage the transmission of Covid-19. All entrants and staff are expected to adhere to the guidance.
The following individuals MUST NOT ATTEND the event;
Any individual displaying the symptoms of Covid-19 (New persistent cough, High temperature, Loss of taste or smell)
Any individual who is self-isolating either due to displaying symptoms as above for 7 days, or any member of their household who is self-isolating for 14 days.
Any individual who has been instructed by the relevant contact tracing authority to isolate.
We ADVISE the following individuals NOT TO ATTEND the event;
Any individual who has been informed that they are extremely clinically vulnerable and that they should be shielding.
Individuals who live in the same household as an individual who is extremely clinically vulnerable.
