The Digital Office for Scottish Local Government is hosting an exciting workshop alongside Gartner's Vice Present for Data and Analytics Strategy and Chief Data Officer (CDO), Alan Duncan, which will explore how local authorities in Scotland can use data and analytics to thrive and also help us create a backlog of products to share and shift across the Digital Partnership.The morning session will be facilitated solely by Gartner Research VP Alan D. Duncan, and will explore:<ul><li>Beyond the hype of digital business – identifying benefit opportunities for data-driven local government;</li><li>Using modern data &amp; analytics practices to leverage data assets and foster more evidence-based policy and operations and;</li><li>How to establish the necessary organisational capabilities and foster a more data-driven culture.</li></ul>The afternoon session will be an interactive workshop for local authority participants facilitated by data and business intelligence practitioners from local government and will include:<ul><li>Sharing practical implementation experience;</li><li>Creating communities and agile squads to enable cross council collaboration;</li><li>Identifying data-driven opportunities toward better outcomes for our citizens.</li></ul>If you have any questions about this event, please email info@digitaloffice.scot.This workshop is free and is for members of the Scottish Local Government Digital Partnership only.
