Session Information:

This session is to provide installation help for any software that needs to be installed on your computer before attending other Python training sessions during Bristol Data Week. Come along to this session if you would like help installing any of the pre-requisite software for the JGI training workshops (e.g. Anaconda).


This session will be run in a hybrid format, so please select which ticket you would like to reserve when booking (in-person at Fry Building, Bristol or online). For online tickets, the Teams link will be sent a week before the session.


Learning Outcomes:

  • How to install Anaconda Python on your computer (including pandas, scikit-learn, numpy, and seaborn)
  • How to test that your software is installed correctly and that you are ready to take part in the workshops
