Explore our hands-on workshops for aspiring fashion designers! Learn fashion illustration, skirt-making, draping, bodice, collar, and sleeve techniques. Build the skills to bring your unique designs to life.

This session gives you the chance to work on your own projects in a supportive setting. It’s perfect if you’re struggling to make progress on a specific project or have lost motivation to complete something at home. We have a spacious cutting table for patternmaking, along with a range of industrial sewing machines, mannequins, and irons. Additionally, you’ll have the guidance of our tutor, John Herrera, to assist you throughout.TutorDesigner John Herrera is a tutor at FCFTA. John first showcased his collection at the International Fashion Showcase during London Fashion Week in February 2015, an event organised by the British Fashion Council. Since then, he has exhibited in Tokyo and London with Fashion Scout, and recently made headlines at Paris Fashion Week with his debut collection.
