Dry Stone Walling Course
Join us on the Southern slopes of Dartmoor for this dry stone walling course.
DRST are making a return to Nutwells, Buckland-in-the-Moor for another dry stone walling course. The wall in need of repair is suitable for beginners and those wanting to practice working with granite. The repair is on a ‘New-take’ style wall on a slope, the front face is near vertical with the rear of the wall cascading down to ground level to enable livestock to be rounded up and headed back into the field should they escape.
The wall is sheltered under coniferous trees making the venue an ideal place to wall in the colder months. prepare a flask, get togged up, and bring your hammers!
