Description

Welcome to the registration page for the DSA Workshop in Newcastle on 18th September 2019. If you want to register for the main afternoon workshops only sign up using our sister registration page: DSA Workshop, Newcastle.

We want to ensure everybody gets the most out of the main presentations scheduled for the afternoon, so we are inviting anyone new to the DSA or who wants to brush up their knowledge to come along at 10am. In 2 hours we will provide a demo of each software. Each demo will be offered to small groups so you can follow the session close up and ask questions. After the demos we'll provide lunch and then transition to the main line-up of workshops.

*Registering your details here will sign you up for the extra training and the main line-up of workshops.*

The core workshops start after lunch at 1.00pm. We're delighted to welcome the guest speaker, Peter Quinn, who will present a workshop session titled 'Mental Health Matters': A UK wide perspective on student mental well-being and student mental illness and how universities are responding to this global issue. More details below.

These events are suitable for learning support staff, assessors, disability advisors, AT specialists and other professionals working in roles to support FE and HE students. Please note that the level of expertise at each workshop will differ.

These sessions are accredited by The CPD Certificate Service and equate to 5 hours or points.
