Sussex Digital In Reach Team provides a free platform on which Care Providers across Sussex can access free advice and support on technology, digitalisation and data protection. We are run by the care providers for the care providers.

This week is part three of a four week workshop covering each section of the DSPT.During this workshop we will look at the DSPT section relating to Data Security and help you navigate through the toolkit to achieve ‘Standards Met’ when you republish your DSPT.By completing your DSPT, you will provide evidence that you meet all of the minimum legislative requirements of the DPA and UK-GDPR as well as some cyber security best practice. Standards Met is the level that all care providers should be aiming for as it demonstrates that they also meet the health and social care data security standards.During this 4 week interactive workshop we will guide you step by step to completion and publication of your toolkit to standards met.This event is part of the Better Security, Better Care programme, funded by NHS Transformation Directorate to support data and cyber security across the adult social care provider sector.
