Don't miss out on this enlightening experience!Speaker Bio:Lesley-Anne Kelly is the Head of Data Journalism at DC Thomson. She has been working as a data journalist for around six years now but has almost two decades of experience of working with data. Lesley-Anne’s data journalism team are passionate about making data accessible and engaging by utilising cutting edge storytelling techniques. They use a blend of traditional journalism and data visualisation to demystify numbers.Born in Glasgow, Lesley-Anne moved to Dundee for university at 17 and never left which means she’s now lived in Dundee for 55% of her life. In 2020 she completed a masters course in data visualisation.In her spare time she is a vegan pizza crunch enthusiast and will die on the hill that you can learn more about life in Scotland from the annual baby name data release than you ever will from GERS.
