Description
The second of our DWP Digital ‘tech talks’ as part of Digital Leaders Week, demonstrating how we’re tackling some of the UK’s biggest digital challenges.
In his talk ‘Empathy in Accessibility’, Senior Interaction Designer Craig Abbott talks us through building empathy for users with impairments, making sure we are aware of how to design services that don’t disable people.
As an interaction designer working on digital services in government, accessibility is the priority in Craig’s work.
He gives us examples of things that have tripped him up in the past as well as suggesting tools we can use to help us test our designs.
