Dynamo is teaming up with the International Centre for Connected Construction and Gray Fox Consulting to breathe new life into one of its most active communities, and ensure it can deliver most value to its members.
Since forming in 2017, the Digital Construction Cluster has worked with a range of businesses in the region to help raise the profile of our trailblazing partners and bring fresh funding into the region to help drive it even further forward. The cluster successfully helped to secure seed funding for the International Centre for Connected Construction – an organisation dedicated to helping North East based businesses access large contracts on an international scale, driving positive transformation and innovation across the sector in the process.
With IC3 now targeting multi-million pound funding, and cluster partners continuing to grow, it’s time to take a fresh look at how the cluster can support its members to achieve their short, medium and long term goals – and how it can leverage the collective reputation of our industry leaders to drive national and international partnerships to support individual businesses as well as the region’s economy at large.
The session will be led by Alistair McLeod – former Director at Waterstons and Founder of Grey Fox Consulting. Alistair has over 28 years of experience helping organisations across the construction industry deliver successful transformation projects. Together with his knowledge of the region, our assets and the barriers we face, he is perfectly placed to deliver a collaborative session that produces a shared vision for the cluster and sets us on the path for continued success.
To ensure the voice of our members are heard beyond the North East, a relaunch will be held in September with guest speaker Mark Farmer. Here members will have the opportunity to hear from the business leader and government influencer, and communicate the unique assets of the North East that should put us at the heart of the UK’s construction strategy.
