This first edition features three full-length (30min) sets from:
SLATE PIPE BANJO DRAGGERS
Andy Rowe’s sound, music and performance project is known as the Slate Pipe Banjo Draggers. The Slate Pipe Banjo Draggers current solo live incarnation uses up to twenty cassette walkmans, dictaphones and mini and micro cassette players. The sounds created during the improvised performance are drawn from an ever-growing collection of found and prepared tapes.
on&off
on&off is a collaborative performance project between artists Nikolai Kozin and Martin Lau. Nikolai creates live animated drawings (using Tagtool software) accompanied by noise/soundscapes produced by Martin (electronics and flute), with each element being improvised in response to the other.
