Early Detection multidisciplinary networking series - 2

Early Cancer Institute

This series of multidisciplinary networking events pairs a clinician with a STEM scientist or industrial speaker  to talk about their work and where it may be relevant to early detection of cancer. The STEM scientists and industrial representatives may speak about the devices and interventions they are developing and the clinicians speak about potential bottlenecks in their work which might be addressed by greater collaboration with physical scientists.
At this event we will have a panel of people with direct experience of taking new diagnostic techniques into clinical application. The panel will be moderated by Dr Dafne Chirivino of Cambridge Enterprise and will include Dr John Pritchard (Entrepreneur in Residence, Cambridge Enterprise), Professor Rebecca Fitzgerald (MRC Cancer Unit), Mr Vincent Gnanapragasam (Department of Surgery) and Dr Anita Marguerie de Rotrou (Office for Translational Research, School of Clinical Medicine). The panel discussion will be followed by the opportunity to network further with colleagues over refreshments.
