The Link website is funded by theChildren Learning and Skills Directoratein Slough Borough Council. It is aimed at current and future education professionals in Slough, particularly teachers and early years practitioners.We have a strong and vibrant education system in Slough characterised by good educational outcomes for children and a growing spirit of collegiality andpartnership workingacross schools and between schools and the LA.We hope that the Link will become a powerful tool to strengthen the education system in Slough by supporting the communication of education priorities and facilitating collaboration across schools and settings.  Please visit our website for further information.

This working group meeting has been brought to you by Slough Borough Council's Early Years Coordinator Childcare Development, Early Years and Prevention, Clare Thompson, for the attention of Schools with nursery classes, nursery schools, PVI managers / owners. 
Slough Early Years Service is in the process of developing a Workforce Development Campaign that aims to promote working with children in Slough, linking with   the national and local Workforce Strategies.
The main focus of the campaign will support awareness raising of different roles working with children and young people in the early years and childcare sector.
We are looking for people to be part of an Early Years Workforce Working Group to start exploring areas and ideas about what we can all do to support the workforce in Slough.
