Early Years Workshop: Project Light 

Founded in 2004, Parasol unit foundation for contemporary art is a non-profit art institution and registered educational charity that does not bear the founder’s name and operates purely for public benefit. Every year the foundation organises four challenging and thought-provoking exhibitions by British and international contemporary artists working in various media, and are usually documented by an accompanying publication. The foundation also holds various artist projects and engages with the public and neighbouring community through a full programme of educational events for children, young people and adults. Thanks to an innovative model between private funding and public support one of London’s most vibrant contemporary art spaces has come to exist and thrives. Admission to all exhibitions at Parasol unit is free of charge.

Early Years Workshop | Project Light With artist educator Natalie Zervou  Thursday 21 September, 10 am - 12 pm
£2 per child, £3 per parent/carer | Booking required | Suitable for under 5s
In this dynamic workshop for under 5s and their parents/carers, artist Natalie Zervou will construct an immersive installation to evoke sensory investigation. Light, shadow and reflection will support active exploration with a specific focus on natural materials. Draw light sources from different directions using projectors to manipulate the space.

Children must be accompanied by a parent or carer. Please ensure you purchase an adult ticket when booking your child's place.
