I am not a creative person. Is this workshop really for me?

This has nothing to do with being “good at art.” It’s about the simple, grounding feeling of making something tangible in a world of endless digital tasks. If you can stir a coffee, you have all the prerequisite skills. We handle the technical stuff so you can just enjoy the process.

What makes your workshops “therapeutic,” exactly? Am I going to have to talk about my feelings?

No, this isn't that kind of event. The therapy is in the doing. You will be so focused on the scent and the wax that you might just forget to check your email.

My company has a wellness budget. Can I really expense this?

Absolutely. Most companies are happy to expense our workshops under "wellbeing," "mindfulness" or "stress-management training".

Join us in our SE1 Bermondsey conservatory studio for a creative session of candle making and aromatherapy moment

Our candle making workshops always start with an aromatherapy moment, to honour our name: The Scent of Burnout.

After the aromatherapy we need to make some decisions: which colour, which scent, which decorations.

Then we pour the candle and focus on the Easter decorations that will go on top of it.

We end the session by taking some cute photos on our rotating mini-stage.
