Easter Free Motion Machine Embroidery Workshop

Join me for a free motion machine embroidery workshop and enjoy learning a new skill and creating personalised designs.

What this class is all about:

Enjoy a little spring time fun, learn FREE MOTION MACHINE EMBROIDERY skills in my Easter Free Motion Machine Embroidery Workshop where we will be creating your very own personalised designs using free machine embroidery and applique which, can be made into a variety of products.

Who is this class for:

Suitable for everyone, there will be an option to add some hand stitching to your decorations but this will be your personal choice.

What you will make:

you will have the opportunity to make one or more of the following: a bookmark, a personalised card or, a gift bags using a choice of Easter ans spring themed designs.

What you will learn:

• How to set up you machine for free machine embroidery
• How to use specialist materials and equipment to perfect your design
• How to ‘draw’ with the sewing machine
• How to use Bondaweb and decorative stitch techniques to create your appliqué shapes.

Materials and equipment:

All the equipment, materials and resources you will use during this workshop will be provided.

You will be given a 15cm/6” embroidery hoop to work with and KEEP. If you would like to use a different size, please bring it with you.

REALLY IMPORTANT: I WILL HAVE FREE MACHINE EBROIDERY FEET WHICH FIT STANDARD LOW SHANK/ SNAP ON FEET TYPE SEWING MACHINES (MOST MODELS) IF YOU DO NOT HAVE THIS STYLE OF MACHINE YOU WILL NEED TO SUPPLY YOUR OWN FOOT OR BORROW ONE OF MY MACHINES. PLEASE LET ME KNOW IN ADVANCE IF YOU REQUIRE ONE OF MY MACHINES, I ONLY HAVE FOUR!

What to bring:

Yourself, your glasses if you need them and any refreshments you may want during the session.

You may wish to bring your own scissors and sewing equipment but we will provide this on the day.
