Easter nature celebration
Celebrate the arrival of spring with a fun-filled family day at our St Nicholas Park nature reserve. Perfect for all ages to enjoy together.
Spring is here, the days grow longer and the temperatures warmer. So why not come along to your local nature reserve at St Nicholas Park and join in with some family fun.
Pond Dipping - Discover the wonders of pond life! Grab a net and explore what’s hiding beneath the water—frogs, bugs, and wiggly creatures await!
Introducing iNaturalist - We'll teach you how to use Seek by iNaturalist, an app to help you identify plants and animals, so you can become an expert nature detective! We recommend downloading the Seek by iNaturalist app before you come along.
Nature Craftivisim - Our ever popular nature craft stall will be back allowing you to get creative with all manner of materials. This year we want to challenge you to make something meaningful, that represents your connection with nature.
And more...
10:30am until 11:30am is our quiet hour for children who require a less busy environment. Great for children with additional or sensory needs. Space to explore the activities in a calm environment.
Parking is limited so please walk, cycle or make use of public transport where possible. If you have any accessibility concerns or if getting to the event would be a barrier, please get in touch and we may be able to assist.
Whilst this is a drop-in event, please register your interest so we know how many to expect on the day. Recommended for ages 4+, children must be accompanied by a responsible adult.
Part of our Championing Nature Project, a new programme aimed at creating positive, lasting impact in urban communities through greater connections and engagement with nature. Made possible by Wimbledon and Emirates partnership.
