Join our free, monthly workshops at the Climate Hub!Bring along any items that need alterations, adaptations, knitting, stitching, patching, mending, darning, crochet, or even embroidery. All materials and sewing equipment will be provided but make sure you bring the items you wish to repair.Jude Marsh and Kirpal (Kay) Kaur, both Meadows residents and experienced in sewing, mending, and upcycling garments, will facilitate the session, and be around to share their skills.A tasty homemade lunch will be provided between 12:30 – 13:30.Come for the whole duration or just drop in. If you can, please let us know if you are coming so we can prepare enough food. The Eat &amp; Learn workshops are designed to help you gain new skills, learn about climate and community action and chat to others over a free hot meal. Each workshop will have a practical element where you can learn a new skill. We will then tuck into a free hot meal while listening to a talk or discussion led by a relevant expert. And that's not all! Some exciting freebies at each event will help you put your new skills to practice.Please note, this free workshop is for residents of the Meadows only. It is suitable for all ages.
