Eating Disorders Services Consultation (Workshop 1)

Dr Menna Jones is a clinical psychologist with 20 years' experience working in the NHS, the last 10 years as clinical lead of a Tier 3 eating disorders service for adults. Since January 2021, she has been in post as National Lead for Eating Disorders in Wales, supporting service improvements for all services that are involved in the care and treatment of children and adults who have eating disorders.

SCROLL DOWN TO SEE DATES OF ALL 3 WORKSHOPSEATING DISORDERS DEVELOPMENTS WORKSHOPS[Fersiwn Cymraeg islaw]There is a great deal of development coming up in services in Wales for people who have eating disorders. This comes following the publication of the recommendations of the Service Review for eating disorders that was commissioned by the Welsh Government in 2018. A summary of the service review is available <a href="https://gov.wales/eating-disorders-service-review-2018" target="_blank" data-msys-clicktrack="0" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer">here</a>. We want to hear from current and past service users and their families about the changes you want to see over the next couple of years and beyond. Three online workshops will be held for service users and families during March 2021. They will be held at different times of the day and days of the week so hopefully everyone who wishes to take part has the chance to do so. Each workshop will start with a brief update from the National Lead for Eating Disorders in Wales, Dr Menna Jones, and then there will be the chance to have discussions together in small groups about how services should be improved.
