Bounceback Food CIC is a social enterprise fighting food poverty and food waste across the UK. Our Community Cookery School teams teach people how to cook, run food bank drives at market events, help people get jobs in the food sector and coordinate community meal drives that provide emergency meals for our beneficiaries.Since 2014 we have taught 10,000+ people how to cook - including stroke survivors, young carers, foodbank beneficiaries and elderly people living in sheltered accommodation. We have also secured 25,000+ donations to food banks and generated over 250,000 meals for people in need via our catering, community meal drives and cookery workshops.We run a variety of public cookery workshops, supper clubs and fundraising events throughout the year - hopefully see you soon!

Join us on Saturday 18th April, for a day of eats and beats on Record Store Day 🎶This year we're teaming up with Tasty Records to put on our biggest Eats &amp; Beats event to date - on Record Store Day! Enjoy our 'buy one, give one' lunch menu while some wonderful guest DJ's play a selection of their favourite records &amp; help us raise vital funds for our outreach work across the city. Every meal bought at our Community Kitchen funds another, which is distributed to 1 of our 15 partner foodbanks/sheltered accommodation facilities in Manchester and the North West.We're also opening up the decks first thing and mid-afternoon too, so feel free to bring some records of your own... Timings:10am-11am: Open Deck #111am-12pm: Sliced Tomatoes12-1pm: TBC1-2pm: TBC2-4pm: Open Deck #2 We welcome DJs of all abilities/skill/experience levels - and we're up for all genres of music!
