A live launch event for an exciting new journal of writing on landscapes lost, abandoned, forgotten and mythic, hosted by Helen Needham.

Join Helen Needham of BBC Radio Scotland to meet Echtrai's creator Baz Nichols, editorial team Martyn Hudson and Emily Hesse, and an exciting line up of contributing authors on the official launch of this new journal of thoughtful and imaginative writing on landscapes lost, abandoned, forgotten and mythic. Learn how the journal came about, its focus and ambition, and hear extracts of work from some of the featured writers, including Costa nominated author of Ghost Town Jeff Young; the wonderful, internationally recognised artist and poet Alec Finlay; Guardian contributor Jon Woolcott of Little Toller Books; as well as new voices including Belinda Guerriero, Louise Kenward and Ian Grosz.
