Overview

If you are a developer, architect or agent please come along to our CPD session on 12 March, 12:30–14:00, at Shortlanesend Village Hall

You may have heard there have been some changes in environmental legislation recently, with the Planning and Infrastructure Act, as well as changes to the application of Biodiversity Net Gain.

If you are a developer, architect or agent please come along to our CPD session on 12 March, from 12:30–14:00, at Shortlanesend Village Hall to find out more.

We will provide you with an update on recent changes in environmental legislation and their implications for ecological assessment, planning applications, and validation requirements. By the end of the session you will be able to answer:

  • Does my very small site still need to demonstrate Biodiversity Net Gain?
  • Will I be able to use Environmental Delivery Plans?
  • What is changing for this survey season?
  • Will the nutrient neutrality situation in the Camel catchment change anytime soon?

This CPD event will be of particular relevance to planners, architects, and developers involved in the preparation, submission, or determination of planning applications where ecological considerations are a material planning consideration.

The briefing will be delivered by Natasha Collings-Costello, Managing Director at CEC, and Jenny Stuart, Associate at CEC.
