You are invited to learn with creative technology collectives that are growing ecologies of the new commons and exploring living alternatives to the relentless financialisation of natural resources (such as patenting seeds and trading water as a commodity).

This programme will run from January to March 2023. The sessions are free and open to all interested in sustainable, diverse ways of working with and understanding technologies on a damaged earth.

Featuring collectives from Latin America, Europe, Oceania and the Middle East, this programme invites growing solidarities with artists, technologists, researchers and activists from around the world. Each online session is a conversation around community activism, creative practices and technologies that challenge colonial narratives and embrace reciprocal relationships with the land and other beings.

We will learn together about seed archives growing a protected commons in germplasm, creative networks in service to cultural knowledge, and alternative economic systems for circus improvisation. The programme ends with an in-person event focused on the ecologies and technologies of activism.
