Eden Wool Gathering’s where wool lovers meet up, swap tips, shop fiber, and have fun!
Welcome to the Eden Wool Gathering!
Join us for a cozy and fun in-person event celebrating all things wool and fiber arts. Whether you're a seasoned spinner, a knitting newbie, or just curious, this is the perfect spot to connect with fellow enthusiasts, share tips, and explore beautiful wool creations. Expect good vibes, great company, and plenty of inspiration to get those creative juices flowing!
This year we have:
- Natasha Smart
- Lena Archbold
- Kingdom of Craft
- Coastal Colours
- Border Mill
- Sue Hay – paintings on glass
- Cefn Llan Fibre Flock
- Galloway Forest Fibre
Many more artists will be announced throughout the year.
We will again have waulking and Gaelic songs.
Eden Textiles will be presenting an exhibition of her Varafeldar work.
Food and drink will include freshly prepared food by Lee Concannon, Old Yarn beer, fresh coffee and cakes,
Whithorn Trust’s café also open.
All workshops will be announced and will take place in the County Buildings.
An evening meal and ceilidh night on the Saturday will be announced, with times to follow.
There will also be hand shearing, games for children, natural dye demonstrations, and much more — with further additions announced throughout the year.
All proceeds go to Stranraer Cancer Drop-In.
We also have a surprise guest, which will be announced soon.
We would like to thank the Whithorn Trust, as always, for helping us to put this event on, and all the Stranraer Cancer Drop-In volunteers for the invaluable work they do.
