Edinburgh GlowRide - cancelled due to severe weather

The Council is partnering with Cycling Scotland, Sustrans Scotland and Evans Cycles to organise the GlowRide event.

Join us for a fun, free glow in the dark bike ride around Edinburgh's city centre. 
Cyclists of all ages and abilities are invited to bring their hi-vis, glow-in-the-dark accessories and lights for a three-mile led ride starting at the City Chambers at 7pm on Sunday 4 March. 
The GlowRide is being held to celebrate Edinburgh becoming Scotland's first 20mph city. The fourth and final phase of the citywide rollout will go live in South Edinburgh on Monday 5 March 2018. 
Starting and finishing at the City Chambers on the High Street, bring along your set of wheels already decorated or arrive from 6pm to 'bling up' your bike with some of the glow-in-the-dark accessories provided. 
It's free to register. Places will be allocated on a first-come, first-served basis. Riders must be aged 12 and over and have access to a bike that they can ride for the event. 
Please note that children must be accompanied by a responsible adult, who must be next to them at all times. 
Once you've registered for the event, we'll send you details of everything you need to know before and on the day.
