Before joining the Holocaust Educational Trust she was National Director of the Jewish Labour Movement. She is also a Labour Councillor in the London Borough of Barnet.<a href="https://www.linkedin.com/in/clementine-s-09712533/" target="_blank" data-msys-clicktrack="0" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer">Clementine Smith</a>, Director of Programmes, Holocaust Educational TrustClementine has worked at the Holocaust Educational Trust for 10 years starting as Ambassador Outreach Officer. In her current role as Director of Programmes she oversees all aspects of the trust’s educational programmes, and is also the Deputy Managing Director of the trust. Prior to joining the Holocaust Educational Trust she was Global Education Outreach Manager at the charity Peace One Day.<h2>Campaign Focus</h2><a href="https://pedrozacommunications.co.uk" target="_blank" data-msys-clicktrack="0" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer">Anna Pedroza</a>, Pedroza Communications, <a href="https://www.nga.org" target="_blank" data-msys-clicktrack="0" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer">National Governors Association</a>Earlier this year the National Governance Association launched a new film about the role of school governors and trustees. Part of their wider work to make governance more visible, Pedroza Comms helped them to launch the film which was aimed at both educators and employers.Anna Pedroza, Director of Pedroza Comms, will talk about this small campaign and look at what worked well, what she learnt, and what she feels it’s important for education comms and marketing professionals to consider.<h2>Media Spotlight</h2><a href="https://www.linkedin.com/in/jl-dutaut-9b94464b/" target="_blank" data-msys-clicktrack="0" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer">JL Dutaut</a>, Commissioning Editor <a href="https://schoolsweek.co.uk" target="_blank" data-msys-clicktrack="0" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer">Schools Week</a> After 15 years in primary and secondary classrooms, JL rediscovered his first love of writing. His blog, book and a regular column about education all promoted a simple idea: More diversity makes better policy.
