Norfolk Research School

Develop and implement evidence-based strategies to enhance learning behaviours at your school and help students to flourish.

What is it?Based on the EEF’s guidance and rooted in the latest research, this professional development programme will enable your teachers to develop evidence-based strategies to support learning behaviours - motivating young people and helping them become more determined to succeed.Over nine modules (modules 1-3 - first in-person session; modules 4-6 - online sessions; modules 7-9 - final in-person session), participants will discover the effective learning behaviours that have emerged from the rich and diverse evidence base represented in the EEF guidance reports, which form a crucial interconnecting puzzle of useable evidence. Outcomes of the programme:<ul><li>Develop a deep understanding of the best evidence available around learning behaviours</li><li>Be provided with the tools and processes to explore your school culture and practices</li><li>Be provided with guidance on effective implementation and opportunities to plan for positive and sustained change</li><li>Explore real life case studies, supporting tools and share practical advice and good practice</li><li>Consider the dynamic process and reciprocal influences needed to change a learning behaviour</li></ul>Who is it for?This programme is aimed at senior leaders, heads of departments or key stage leaders from primary, secondary or specialist schools.Dates: <ul><li>In person: 23rd February, 9am to 2pm</li><li>Online: 9th March, 1-3pm</li><li>Online: 23rd March, 10am-12pm</li><li>Online: 28th April 10am-12pm</li><li>In person: 18th May, 9am-2pm</li></ul>
