Course overview

The impact of poor recruitment practice can be felt in financial terms as well as

in loss of productivity, waste of management time and sometimes even

reputational damage. Recruiting the right person first time is essential to the

success of any organisation.

By equipping managers with the skills and understanding of best practice in

recruitment, organisations can maximise their ability to identify, attract and

retain the best talent available.

Who should attend?

This practical interactive course is suitable for any employees involved in the

recruitment process in your organisation, whether or not they are managers.

Benefits of attending

Delegates will learn about each stage of the recruitment process, understanding

how to ensure it is planned and undertaken effectively to maximise the chances

of a successful appointment. They will learn how to avoid potential

discrimination and how to select and use effective selection tools.

Your organisation will benefit from a more consistent approach to recruitment

aligned with operational and strategic needs. The training will also reduce the

risk of discriminatory practice by raising awareness and identifying common
