The National Museum of Computing (TNMOC) is home to the world's largest collection of working historic computers.Follow the development of computing: from the Turing-Welchman Bombe and Colossus of the 1940s through the large systems and mainframes of the 1950s, 60s and 70s, to the rise of personal computing and the rise of mobile computing and the internet.Recognised as one of England’s top 100 ‘irreplaceable places’, we welcome corporate and group visits, schools and individuals from all over the world.We are normally open Tuesday to Friday 10:30 -17:00, Saturday & Sunday 10:30 – 17:00. Please check tickets for actual opening days and times.TNMOC operates independently of Bletchley Park Trust, although we are located on the Bletchley Park Estate.To visit us, go through the main Bletchley Park entrance, through the barrier, walk or drive bearing left beyond the main car parks, to our separate entrance located at the top of the Park.Visit their website here for more information.https://www.tnmoc.org/Sat Nav users: please use the postcode for the railway station MK3 6DS on Sherwood Drive and then follow signs. The postcode for Bletchley Park will actually take you to an old entrance which is closed.

We are running another Electro Jumble to dispose of items that are not part of our collection. Please come along and pick up some bargains.

The National Museum of Computing

Please note that this is a ticket only event, so please ensure you have your ticket details with you on arrival.Over the years, the museum has accumulated many pieces of electronic apparatus and components that do not fit with the museum&#x27;s collection policy and are taking up valuable storage space. Items for sale will include test equipment, military items, domestic radios, telecommunication equipment and vintage components and a few items we have no idea what they are!We are mainly disposing of items that are not computer-related with the exception of a few older PCs and the odd computer item which were at one time in use for admin purposes around the museum and not part of the Collection.We plan to host this event outside to allow for social distancing. As items may be handled, we will require attendees to wear gloves and a mask and make use of the antibacterial hand wash that will be available during the event. If the weather does not allow us to hold it outside, we will create a number of rooms inside with items for sale and may limit the number of people in each room. Please ensure you respect the staff and volunteers who will do their best to assist you during the event and to each other with social distancing!This was a popular event previously so it is best to arrive early to get the best bargain.And for anyone spending £15 or more, you are welcome to look around the museum free of charge. Just ask when you make payment.Note: many of the items shown in the images are likely to have been sold in previous events. This does not indicate what will be available this time.
