Overview

This workshop will guide you through creating publication records that meet REF open access requirements.

Elements is the university’s research information system and plays a central role in supporting the university’s submission to REF 2029. This workshop will guide you through creating publication records that meet REF open access requirements and will explain how Elements interacts with SRO, the institutional publications repository. Beyond publications, your Elements profile highlights your research interests, professional activities, and wider academic contributions. The workshop will demonstrate how to update and enhance your profile, explore how different sections of your Elements profile may also feed into the university’s REF submission and show you how Elements can be used to collect and curate evidence of the impact of your research.
