Elutec Academy of Design and Engineering

<H2 CLASS="MsoNormal">Elutec will be holding an Open Day for Year 10 and Year 12 on Saturday 9th February 2019. It will start at 10:00am and finish at 1:00pm.</H2>
Are you in Years 9 and 11 thinking about what you might study next year? Do you have a keen interest in Engineering, Design, Science, Maths or Technology? Why not attend our Open Day and find out what Elutec can offer you!
Prospective and existing students and their parents/carers are welcome to join us to learn more about Elutec. There will be opportunities to speak to teachers, current students and meet the Principal, and ask any questions that you may have. You can tour the new building and amazing facilities available and see live Engineering and Science workshops in action.
Additionally, there will be 2 speeches from the Principal that you are welcome to attend at 10:15am and 11:15am.
Elutec’s anticipated progression following Sixth Form in 2019: 60% of students go on to university, 40% of students do apprenticeships, in line with the previous year.

<H3>Our campus is ideally located for all forms of transport:</H3>
By Train
The C2C line links with the District line at Upminster and Barking stations.
By Underground
We are located a short walking distance (approx. 5min) from Dagenham East station on the District line.
By Bus
The 174 operates every 8 minutes from Harold Hill via Romford and drops off at the rear of the academy. The 364 runs from High Road (Ilford) and operates every 12 minutes via Dagenham East bus stop. The 103 bus operates every 9 minutes from Chase Cross Road (Romford) and stops at Dagenham East station via Rainham station.
By Car
There will be car parking available for visitors attending the Elutec Open Day on Saturday 9th February 10-1pm. To access the car park, please proceed down Yew Tree Avenue, passing the Elutec building on the left. Go straight across the roundabout, and you will be directed to the car park on the right hand side.
