Embroidery Workshop

Learn embroidery techniques in this workshop led by Rosie McAndrew. Take time for yourself and stitch into naturally dyed tote bags.

Join us in this workshop where artist Rosie McAndrew will guide you through embroidery processes and techniques.

Choose from a selection of tote bags Rosie has dyed naturally using avocado, tumeric and other natural products to create beautiful shades. Once you have your tote bags Rosie will guide you through different embroidery techniques to personalise your tote bag which you can take home with you at the end of the day.

All materials will be provided, all abilities are welcome. Come along and practice new skills amongst likeminded people.

This workshop is in the Community Room at South Square Centre and will last 4 hours, starting at 10:30am, finishing at 3pm with a 30 minute break for lunch.

We have an on site cafe if you would like to purchase refreshments throughout the session.

Location and access:

The session will be held in the upstairs community room at South Square Centre, Thornton Road, BD13 3LD.

A chairlift is accessible to the Community Room.

The centre can be accessed easily via public transport. There is free on street parking around the centre.
