The Emerging Tech Fest, brought to you by the ESTnet, CEMET, Innovate UK and KTN, will return to North Wales at Venue Cymru in Llandudno on 29th January 2020.

Following the success of last year the event will showcase how emerging and enabling technologies can assist your business. It will bring together some of the most innovative companies in Welsh technology with key sectors in North Wales such as tourism, energy and manufacturing, along with professional and business support. The event will feature expert speakers, panel discussions, demonstrations and a vibrant and engaging marketplace.

“From artificial intelligence (AI) and machine learning to cyber security and virtual reality, the Emerging TechFest will show how Wales’ dynamic tech sector can play a crucial role in helping the country’s other important industries flourish”, said Avril Lewis, managing director of the ESTnet. “Last year’s Emerging TechFest was a resounding success, and our 2020 event will be even bigger and better, presenting the opportunity to build fantastic links between enabling technology companies and the sectors which are crucial to the economy in North Wales”.

Matthew Smith, Commercial Manager of CEMET stated “The Emerging Tech Fest 2020 will help industry in North Wales understand that there are huge business gains to be made by adopting or creating emerging technologies and that these technologies are ready to be exploited. Bydd Gwyl Tech Datblygol, a gynhelir gan ESTnet, CEMET, Innovate UK a KTN, yn dychwelyd i ogledd Cymru, yn Venue Cymru, Llandudno, ar 29 Ionawr 2020.

Yn dilyn llwyddiant y llynedd, bydd y digwyddiad yn arddangos sut gall technolegau datblygol a galluogol gynorthwyo eich busnes. Bydd yn dod â rhai o’r cwmnïau mwyaf arloesol ym maes technoleg yng Nghymru at ei gilydd gyda sectorau allweddol yng ngogledd Cymru, fel twristiaeth, ynni a gweithgynhyrchu, ynghyd â chymorth proffesiynol a busnes. Bydd y digwyddiad hwn yn cynnwys siaradwyr arbenigol, trafodaethau panel, arddangosiadau, a marchnadle fywiog a difyr.  

“O ddeallusrwydd artiffisial (AI) a dysgu peiriannau i seibr-ddiogelwch a rhithwirionedd, bydd Emerging TechFest yn dangos sut gall sector technoleg deinamig Cymru chwarae rôl hanfodol mewn helpu diwydiannau pwysig eraill y wlad i ffynnu”, meddai Avril Lewis, rheolwr gyfarwyddwr ESTnet. “Roedd Gwyl Tech Datblygol y llynedd yn llwyddiant mawr, a bydd digwyddiad 2020 hyd yn oed yn fwy ac yn well, a bydd yn cyflwyno cyfle i adeiladu cysylltiadau gwych rhwng cwmnïau technoleg galluogol a’r sectorau sy’n hanfodol i economi gogledd Cymru”.

Dywedodd Matthew Smith, Rheolwr Masnachol y Ganolfan Rhagoriaeth mewn Technolegau Symudol a Datblygol (CEMET), “Bydd Gwyl Tech Datblygol 2020 yn helpu’r diwydiant yng ngogledd Cymru i ddeall bod buddion enfawr i fusnesau trwy fabwysiadu neu greu technolegau datblygol, a bod y technolegau hyn yn barod i gael eu defnyddio. Trwy gysylltu gwybodaeth y sector ag arbenigedd technoleg, gobeithiwn ddatblygu busnesau gogledd Cymru ymhellach, gan sicrhau eu bod nhw’n parhau i gael yr offer i weithredu ar raddfa fyd-eang”.
